Dichroic glasss is a multi-layered glass which reflects different colours when you move. Photographs can rarely capture the variety and sumptuousness of the colours. It is an amazing product - normally handmade - crazy to try to match other beads to!

Well these certainly surprised our designer! Having worked hard to marry up the coppery colours beautifically in the dichroic barrels, the photographic lights brought out blue/greens, however this was accounted for by the reflections in both the twisted bugles, and the variable seed beads chosen - because black was too definite. (Designers think differently, we reckon!) In these handcrafted earrings, if you want sparkling surprises, these are for you!

These handmade spiral dichroic beads 20x13mm show colour variation from lime through emerald to turquoise dependant on the light. They are hung from a lime and antique green mix of tiny glass beads, where even seed beads are carefully chosen for colour balance! These designer earrings display a sparkling confection of greens which could be worn with browns, blacks, reds, oranges and many others!

Light direction makes a tremendous difference to the colour display in these beaded designer earrings. In bright light they seem almost transparent with purple waves, until a different light level or angle brings the vibrant violets into full glory. The stems match the purple variants beautifully - no mean feat with dichroic glass. Evening wear is a must for these - but we are happy to be proved wrong!
