Black Agate rounds lead down to a design incorporating Black Onyx rounds, where 15mm South China Jade rounds and Butter Jade diamonds alternate around a central Jade diamond, picked out by Black Onyx. Finished with an antique silver toggle catch, this designer necklace can be worn with colours as diverse as dark green, purple and orange, and of course black.
A centrepiece of 30x18mm silver foil-lined aqua glass encased in carnelian chips with gold plated spacers leads to a pattern of a variety of alternating turquoise and pomegranate silver foil-lined glass shapes. A symmetric design lifted by the golden spacers, it makes a stunning, unique piece of beauty to adorn and lift a plain outfit. This has as much wow in the flesh as in the picture - and yes we are talking about the necklace!
Strung on gold leather thong, this large (50mm diameter) glass disc pendant pours forth the three graces, gold, topaz and pomegranate! With a selection of foil-lined glass beads of golden hues above the pendant, this could almost be Midas' store cupboard. Fastened by a lanyard clip, this beaded, designer pendant necklace, would look good with tops, jumpers and dresses.
These 15mm Mookaite rounds are all unique. Co-ordinating each large gemstone bead, meant many smaller semi-precious beads were arranged and rejected... until a balanced colour progression emerged. Celebration, a mammoth exercise was successfully achieved! The variegation of all these handsome beads is displayed in a beautiful necklace. A gold plated extension chain completes the piece, which would look good with maroon velvet or a similar luscious dark material.
5mm wide green tube heishi surrounds a fringe of 14mm wide natural trucha sticks. Elasticated for comfort, this pretty feature necklace could go with casual wear or smart natural earth shades.
This seemingly simple design is alive with the different combination of 5mm natural wooden rounds. Divided by long tubes, each set of rounds are carefully chosen to balance in colour and shade both together and across the spectrum of the whole piece, an exercise which looks so easy but takes an amazing amount of concentration and effort. This is the time to make the designer a hot drink and keep out of the way!
Barrels form the skeleton in which 6mm rounded black cubes and red rondelles form a regular pattern. Closed with an extension chain with matching dropper, and trigger catch, this is an unassuming little necklace of great use, but will it get taken off?
